Service

From the first idea to a finished interior

KAAN STUDIO provides a comprehensive interior design service for apartments and houses in Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia and beyond. I can take care of the entire process – from understanding your needs and developing the concept, through detailed design and selection of materials, furniture and lighting, to coordinating contractors and overseeing the renovation.

For clients living abroad, I can also manage the project locally on your behalf. Working with trusted contractors, craftsmen, engineers and construction managers allows me to coordinate the different stages of the project and provide one point of contact throughout the process.

Where structural alterations or formal approvals are required, I can coordinate the necessary technical documentation, including structural and installation designs and documentation required for building permits.

To receive an individual proposal, please email me with a few basic details about your property: its location, type and size, together with a floor plan and photographs if available. I will come back to you with a proposed scope of work and quotation.

PROCES PROJEKTOWY

1. Understanding your needs

We start with a detailed conversation about your lifestyle, needs, preferences and expectations. This creates a clear brief for the project and a foundation for all subsequent decisions.

2. Site survey

The property is measured and documented to provide an accurate basis for the design.

3. Style, atmosphere and colour

Using our conversations, your inspirations and the character of the property, I develop moodboards defining the overall aesthetic direction, materials and colour palette.

4. Space planning

I develop the functional layout of the interior, including the arrangement of rooms, walls, furniture and key functions, with the aim of making the best possible use of the available space.

5. 3D design

A three-dimensional model allows you to understand the proposed interior, its proportions and spatial relationships before moving on to detailed design.

6. Detailed design

The detailed design provides contractors with the information required to implement the project. Depending on the scope, it includes electrical and lighting plans, kitchen and bespoke furniture drawings, ceilings, finishes, tile layouts and other technical details.

Materials, fittings, lighting, furniture and other elements are selected as part of the design, creating a coherent specification for the interior.

7. Budget and quotations

The project budget brings together estimated costs for materials, products and bespoke joinery, together with quotations for construction and finishing works.

8. Implementation and design supervision

During the renovation, I remain in contact with contractors, monitor the quality of the work and visit the site regularly. Where unexpected issues arise – particularly common in historic properties – I adapt the design and coordinate appropriate solutions.

9. Additional services

Depending on the project, the scope can be extended to include project management and turnkey implementation, allowing the client to entrust KAAN STUDIO with the coordination of the project through to completion.
