This apartment in a historic Gdańsk tenement building underwent a complete renovation, including a new functional layout, structural alterations, new installations and restoration of the original plasterwork.
Wherever possible, we preserved and reused the apartment’s original features. The existing wooden floors were retained, while a hallway wardrobe was given new fronts. An original pre-war cabinet was carefully relocated and transformed into a pantry next to the kitchen. The original windows in the living room and kitchen, as well as all of the apartment’s doors, were also preserved.
The redesigned layout allowed us to create an additional bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe adjoining the bedroom, combining the character and history of the apartment with the comfort of contemporary living.
