The colourful interiors of this rental apartment in a historic Sopot tenement building were inspired by the owners’ love of Kandinsky’s paintings. His expressive use of colour became the starting point for creating a distinctive yet welcoming interior.
Both bathrooms feature natural stone — marble and travertine — with carefully chosen colour accents adding a fresh, holiday-inspired feel. The original century-old wooden floor was subtly toned down to give it a more contemporary character while preserving its history.
Natural wood used throughout the apartment brings warmth and a homely atmosphere, while thoughtful details such as well-equipped bathrooms, comfortable beds and heavy curtains provide the comfort and sense of luxury associated with a boutique hotel.
